Kentron Cable Car Station
The Cable Car Station was open in 1967, got abandoned in 2004 April 2nd, because the cable car crashed and fell from 15 m. height. The architects are Hovhannes Margaryan, Baghdasar Arzumanyan, but the mechanical designer is M. Vaghtangov.
The Ropeway moved 500 people daily.
In April 2004, a cable car cabin plummeted from a height of about 15 meters onto a hillside, resulting in multiple fatalities and serious injuries, and because of that – it closed.
Nork Cable Car Station
The Nork Cable Car Station is located on Armenak Armenakyan St. in Nork-Marash.
Now, the station is for sale.
The motor for the cable cars was still in place.
